A World of Possibilities

Join us for TEDx Central Michigan University 2026, an afternoon of thought-provoking ideas, inspiring stories and fresh perspectives centered on this year's theme, A World of Possibilities.

Eight speakers will explore topics ranging from artificial intelligence in rural medicine and the power of creativity to overcoming obstacles, embracing change and discovering new opportunities. The event will also feature live musical performances, opening remarks from CMU President Neil MacKinnon and Provost Nancy Lancaster, and opportunities to connect directly with speakers.

Hosted by the TEDx Central Michigan University registered student organization, the event welcomes students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the greater Mount Pleasant community.

The program also includes musical performances by Daryl & the Beans and Jesse Allen Roth, along with a lunch and networking break.

Tickets and registration

Registration opens Friday, Nov. 6, at noon.

A limited number of 100 free audience tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
