Scheduling an appointment at the testing center
The Certified Testing Center offers testing by appointment using the appropriate scheduler listed below. Scheduling is based on average completion time, but testers will be granted the full time allowed as needed. It’s important to schedule exams early to ensure availability before course deadlines. Exams may be scheduled up to 2 months in advance. In the event of a university closure, the testing center will be closed. If you have questions or need assistance with scheduling, please call 989-774-1092 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

CMU Student Exam Scheduling
CMU students needing to schedule an exam should click on the button below. This includes online, Student Disability Services (SDS), make-up, and other types of testing. You will be prompted to select your type of testing and the length of time on the scheduling page. If you are unsure of the time, select a 120-minute appointment.
SDS students - remember the four-day scheduling requirement, and SDS exams are administered Monday through Friday during regular testing hours.

Non-CMU Student Exam Scheduling

There is a $30.00 charge for non-CMU students utilizing proctoring services. Please have your instructor send the exam/exam instructions to the Certified Testing Center: testingcenter@cmich.edu.

Appointments at CMU Centers in Michigan
CMU students who are away from the Mount Pleasant campus may be able to take proctored exams at one of our CMU Off-Campus Center locations across Michigan.
Schedule an appointment using our scheduling system. NOTE: The CMU Centers request a minimum of 24 hours' advance notice for exam appointments.
