People belong to many social groups (e.g., gender, race/ethnicity, socioeconomic class, religion, political affiliation, and so on). Social identity people develop by belonging to social groups is associated with psychological outcomes.  In this study, gender and race/ethnicity identities and their relationships with self-esteem were examined.
