First Year Program Highlights

2018-207-20 Freshmen Orientation mb

We are excited to welcome you to CMU

On your orientation day, you will join many of your new classmates for an introduction of #LifeAtCentral and getting FIRED UP for your first semester! You’ll meet with academic advisors, our student mentors, and other CMU staff to learn about academic requirements, campus resources, and ways to get involved. You’ll also plan and register for your first semester.

You'll also be added to our new student orientation "course shell" in Blackboard. You will have access to informative online resources and recorded sessions to learn more about your academic area of study and to help you make the most of your transition to CMU. We'll continue to add information after orientation to help you prepare for your first semester here. You can also schedule appointments to learn more about areas such as billing and financial aid, student employment, and getting involved on campus.
