Fortier, Jaclyn
Biography
Jaclyn joined the Innovation and Online team at CMU in Fall 2024. A lifetime resident of Southeast Michigan, Jaclyn is excited to serve the community she lives in as Associate Director for Business and Community Outreach for Southeast Michigan.
Jaclyn earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in Elementary Education and taught in K-12 for several years. Later, Jaclyn worked for Oakland University’s School of Business in a variety of roles, focusing mainly in areas of career development and preparation for students.
Jaclyn also completed her graduate degree in Training and Development from Oakland University. Prior to CMU, Jaclyn worked in the real estate industry in the Training and Onboarding space. Her passion for education led her to return to higher education in 2024 at CMU. She is eager to leverage CMU’s resources and partnerships to foster mutually beneficial opportunities, contributing to both the academic community and the broader regional landscape.
In her free time, Jaclyn enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with her family.
