Biography

As a member of our digital strategy team, Lauren plays a key role in helping college collaborators optimize their web presence for both users and search engines. With over a decade of experience in marketing across a range of industries, she brings a well-rounded perspective to every project. Lauren thrives on uncovering insights through data: understanding user behavior, analyzing trends, and translating that information into content and design strategies that drive action. Whether it's improving a program page's performance or advising on site architecture, she brings curiosity, creativity, and a strategic mindset to every challenge.

Lauren has a deep appreciation for marketing strategy and is especially inspired by the work of Michael Porter. She enjoys applying his principles like competitive advantage, differentiation, and value creation to digital environments. For her, strategy is more than a plan; it’s a lens for identifying strengths, focusing efforts, and building sustainable success in a crowded marketplace.

A 3rd generation farmer, Lauren was born and raised in Rosebush, MI. When she’s not busy raising two tiny humans with her husband, she binges books, listens to podcasts and enjoys hanging out with her Mangalitsa pigs.
