Sweeney Hall

Welcome to Sweeney Hall

Sweeney Hall, located in our South Community, provides four-person suite-style living with two bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a common area for studying or spending time with friends. Conveniently located near campus resources, Sweeney Hall is also home to the Education and Human Services Residential College, offering unique opportunities for collaboration. South Community halls, including Sweeney, close during Thanksgiving, semester and spring breaks. For housing during these periods, consider options in the East Community, which remains open during breaks.

Cost per semester* $3,139.00
*Please note that this rate covers housing only. Students are also required to select a meal plan, which will determine the total cost of housing and dining for the semester. Room rates for the 2025-2026 academic year will be announced after the CMU Board of Trustees approves them in the spring of 2025. Stay tuned for updates on next year’s rates and meal plans.
