Ceremony information
All ceremonies will take place in McGuirk Arena on Saturday, December 19. The ceremony may be viewed here: Commencement Schedule.
Participation
CMU faculty and staff are invited to participate in the December 2026 Commencement ceremonies. The ceremony schedule can be viewed on the commencement website, with all ceremonies taking place in McGuirk Arena on Saturday, December 19. If you wish to participate, please complete the online registration form by Tuesday, November 17.
Academic regalia ordering
Participants must wear academic regalia. CMU partners with Oak Hall to provide options for the rental of regalia. Rental orders for December 2026 commencement must be placed by Friday, November 6. For assistance, please contact the CMU Bookstore at 989-774-7493.
