Following feedback from our university community, we’ve postponed the launch of the new cmich.edu website. The new site is now scheduled to launch the evening of Friday, January 7, 2022.

We heard your concerns about the launch of a new website so close to final exams and grading, and so we’ve made the decision to postpone the launch of the new cmich.edu until early January 2022.

We’re less than one month from the launch of the new cmich.edu and the question on everyone’s mind is: What happens to the old site and all my stuff?

We’re launching Central Michigan University’s new website in about one month, and we want to be sure you have all the information you need about the new cmich.edu.

The new website will add to and improve on many of the capabilities of the current site as well as introduce a new light and clean look with large imagery, quick readability and easier navigation.

Complementary efforts will kick off this summer to advance Central Michigan University’s marketing efforts and to redesign its web presence.

Work to re-envision and redesign Central Michigan University’s websites is underway. The resulting site should be easy to use, advance CMU’s brand and reputation, drive interactions among target audiences, and reflect the university’s strategic plan and values.
