Version 15.4 Sitefinity upgrade

The Digital Strategy Team has been busy preparing and testing an update to Sitefinity version 15.4. This version is a LTS or Long Term Support release, which means Sitefinity will continue to address and correct issues for longer than it will for version 15.3.

Upgrades in version 15.4 include:

  • Improvements in the navigation widget enable you to set/add custom navigation links to external pages.
  • Enhanced capabilities in the page and template structure sidebar, including a search bar which makes it easy to find specific widgets on long pages.
  • New colors and styles in the Sitefinity CMS backend to meet the WCAG 2.2 accessibility compliance standards.

Fixes in version 15.4 include:

  • Individual blog revision history is available again.
  • Ability to sync shared content blocks.
  • Ability to edit and update HTML inside a content block in .NET Core.
  • Loading an image without thumbnail breaks the editor.
  • Content list widget fails to filter items based on date field by current date.
  • Unable to select more than 20 responses in forms.
  • Cannot bulk export a large number of form responses to Excel file.
  • Content Block Table Wizard is not responsive when screen resolution is not supported.
  • Program list widget not correctly displaying programs and filtering based on selections.
  • Main navigation search box on .NET Core pages on Android devices using Chrome were having the onscreen keyboard dispensary.
  • Event list widget not removing past events even though it was set to show only current events.
  • Padding issues on the site-wide alert.
