After receiving his Master in Arts from Wayne State University, he started his professional career with the Second City troupe in Detroit. Thanks to his performance in a show in 1998 (in which Bob Saget was involved); he caught the eye of Saget’s manager, who became Larry’s manager, as well.
He then starred in independent films, made guest appearances in television series such as “Friends” and “Suddenly Susan.” After a guest stint on “The Geena Davis Show”, he was cast in the supporting role of Andy in “According to Jim” and later cast in Seth MacFarlane’s hour-long comedic drama, “Orville.”
He has also been featured in movie – “Hall Pass”, “Killers”, “Wedding Crashers”, “Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King” and many others. He was in the 2013 release of “Pacific Rim”.
Larry Joe and some friends founded The Tasty Face Theatre Company in North Hollywood, CA.
He has been married to his wife Peggy for 12 years and they have five children.
Has five children with wife, Peggy: daughter, Gabriella (born 2000), son, Nathan (born 2002), twins daughter, Madelyne Kay and son, Maxwell Elliot (born March 31st, 2004) and daughter, Lydia (born late 2007). Madelyne and Maxwell were featured live on TLC's A Baby Story.
