Christine Holton Cashen, '89 Interpersonal Communication major and Broadcast and Cinematic Arts minor, is currently an author, professional speaker and owner of A Dynamic Speaker Inc. www.christinecashen.com

For more than 15 years, Christine has spoken to audiences throughout the United States, Canada, South Africa and Australia on topics such as; sparking innovative ideas, handling conflict, reducing stress and energizing employees.

Previous work experience includes serving as a trainer for SkillPath Seminars, Associate Director of Enrollment for National Louis University, where she earned her master's degree and Assistant Director of Admissions at Central Michigan University.

Christine has been awarded numerous professional awards which include being inducted into the National Speakers Association, CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame.  Inductees go through a rigorous peer evaluation and are honored for their speaking excellence and professionalism.  She has also authored the book, The Good Stuff: Quips and Tips on Love, Life, Work and Happiness.  This book was awarded Motivational Book of the Year by the Next Generation Indie Book Awards in 2011.

While at CMU Christine was involved with WMHW Radio, Alpha Sigma Tau, served as a campus ambassador, orientation mentor and admissions intern as well as performed in several University Theatre productions.

Christine is actively involved with CMU's Dallas Alumni Chapter.  She also served as keynote speaker for the department of Communication and Dramatic Arts' Awards Banquet and returns to campus often to support all things CMU.
