Dr. Hubbard is a leading authority on empowerment through transformational change. Over the past thirty years, she has developed a career path based upon her passion and commitment to serve as an advocate to improve the economic status, health and well-being of individuals, organizations and communities, with a special focus on women. In her various professional, leadership and volunteer positions, she has developed and implemented various large-scale change initiatives that have had a significant impact on empowering career, social, financial, physical and community engagement. She has spent the last twenty years serving in leadership positions in health care, entrepreneurial and higher education environments.
A pioneer in her own right, Dr. Hubbard founded National Association of Black Women Entrepreneurs (NABWE), the nation’s first business organization for entrepreneurial and enterprising African American women. Starting with 12 local women, NABWE grew to an international network of 5,000 members.
Dr. Hubbard’s desire to revolutionize the wholeness of women is evident in the book she penned, Sisters are Cashing In, a prolific look at the emotional, mental, and spiritual reasons that lead women to find themselves in debt and poverty. She shared insights and developed a transformational model with steps necessary to eradicating the affects of debt and poverty, thus creating and maintaining wealth.
Clearly seeing a connection between health, wealth and opportunity, Dr. Hubbard is often the catalyst for propelling individuals to envision and act on business and entrepreneurial opportunities, empowering them to develop relationships, partnerships, strategic alliances and apply the mechanics of good business. She is of the firm belief that the process of developing opportunities, business or otherwise, is based on the integration of a healthy mind, body and spirit.
She is the former Corporate Vice President & Chief Diversity Officer – Henry Ford Health System Founder, National Association of Black Women Entrepreneurs, Inc. (NABWE) President, Sisters United Hospitality Group, LLC Master Certified Coach – International Coach Federation (ICF)
