Dr. King is an evangelist, activist, author and former state representative for the 28th District in the Georgia House of Representatives (1979-1982).

She is the niece of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and daughter of civil rights activist A. D. King and Naomi Barber King.  She is a Fox News Channel contributor.  Dr. King once served as a senior fellow at the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution, a conservative Washington, D.C. think tank.  She has authored several books, produced music and videos and has appeared in film and television.

Dr. King is a former college professor and has served on the boards and committees of numerous organizations including the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, Coalition of African American Pastors and the Judeo-Christian Coalition for Constitutional Restoration.
