Jon is currently Executive Chairman of SPAC Sports & Health Tech Acquisition Corporation, teaming up with Tiger Woods and two others.  The company will target consumer-facing sports and health-tech companies, targeting companies with $600M - $1B in enterprise value.  Jon is also co-owner of The PohlCat. 

Jon retired in Jan. 2022 from RBC Bahamas and Chairman of the Board of Directors for RBC Financial of the Caribbean.  He had been with RBC since 2007.  He previously worked for HSBC as Managing Director of Principal Finance.   Previous to HSBC, Jon was employed by Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Ocwen Financial Corporation. Jon started his career with EDS in Detroit. Jon’s wife Terri is a '85 CMU graduate.  She received her BSeD and Elementary Teaching Certificate. 

Jon and Terri have one son, Kirby, who is employed with RBC in New York.  Kirby attended the University of Michigan.  Jon is a current member of the CBA Dean's Business Roundtable and an emeritus member of the CMU Advancement Board.  As students, Jon participated in gymnastics and Terri was a member of Mortar Board, Alpha Phi Omega and graduated cum laude.  Jon has been instrumental with CMU's Michigan Finance Scholars Program and frequently participates in Dialogue Days.  Jon received CMU's Dick Enberg CMU Alumni Commitment Award in 2021.
