Outstanding Young Alumni Award
Rodney Miller, Sr. '99
Rodney Miller Sr., MSA ’99, has built his career in health care management, and he currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Roy Lester Schneider Hospital in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Tonight Rodney receives CMU’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award.
He serves on the National Association of Health Services Executives, the American College of Health Care Executives, the Institute for Diversity in Health Management, and the Alumni Association for the American Hospital Association.
Last year Rodney received the Puerto Rico Regent’s Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives, he was inducted into the Health Occupations Students of America Alumni Hall of Fame, and he was recognized by Black Enterprise magazine as a "Power Player on the Move."
In 2002 he received the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year Award from the National Association of Health Services Executives. Georgia Trend magazine recognized him as one of Georgia's "40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Business," and Ebony magazine named Rodney as one of the "30 Leaders of the Future" in 2001
