First Impressions provides Central Michigan University students with free professional attire for interviews, job fairs, and other professional events. This resource helps students make a positive first impression in both their classrooms and careers. All CMU students are eligible to request one professional outfit per semester.

First Impressions fittings

First Impressions is holding appointments for the Fall Semester beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Schedule your appointment through Handshake (see instructions below) and meet with a stylist in the store at your appointment time. When scheduling, add your detailed measurements for the best fit.

Appointments

To schedule an appointment*, please visit Handshake and login using your Global ID and password. Click on "Career Center" in the top right corner and select appointments. Select "First Impressions" and then "First Impressions" again.  Choose a day and time that works best for you to meet with a stylist. Complete the questionnaire to provide your stylist with information about your size and clothing needs.
