CIS partnerships

Multicultural, Diversity and Education Council (MDEC)  -  In Spring 2017, MDEC convened its first Hearing Diverse Voices event in partnership with CMU's Office of Curriculum & Instructional Support (CIS). Since then, MDEC has conducted over 20 panels with a wide variety of student populations. As such, several persistent themes from these panels were noted, and we engaged many stakeholders to provide actionable content for instructors to address them more effectively. The four themes identified, corresponding summaries, examples, and resources have been provided so faculty can easily adopt, adapt, or review them for further exploration.
