Grad Visitation Days
Each year, candidates for graduate assistantships in the Student Affairs Graduate Assistantship Program are invited to attend our Grad Visitation Days, a 2-day program that provides interested students an opportunity to visit Central Michigan's beautiful campus in Mt. Pleasant, MI and to interview for available graduate assistantships in the Division of Student Affairs. This year we will be offering the program and opportunity to interview both in person and remotely. This will be a hyflex experience.
The format of the program includes opportunities to learn about the Student Affairs Graduate Assistantship Program, supportive resources in the Office of Graduate Studies, and that of our collaborative partner, Alma College. Prior to arriving, interviews for Student Affairs graduate assistantships will be scheduled with departments that have openings.
Candidates completing the Student Affairs Graduate Assistant Application every year by January 15th will be eligible to receive an invitation to the CMU Grad Visitation Days Program. Invitations are extended to those candidates who meet the desired qualifications of available graduate assistantships. For additional details, please view the Frequently Asked Question section of this website.
