Frequently Asked Questions about University Events

University Events is an Auxiliary Enterprise within the Department of Auxiliary Services, part of the largest self-supporting service organization within the Finance & Administrative Services division. In support of the educational mission and core values of the University, Auxiliary Services provides essential campus services to the CMU community. As such, Auxiliary services are revenue-generating, self-funded enterprising, that charge fees to operate, and are not supported by General Fund budgets. Any Department or Organization requesting services from University Events (or any Auxiliary Department), must provide account information for the transfer of funds for services provided. Also, there are certain facilities, that are considered Auxiliaries, and as such, are not staffed or maintained by General Fund budgets and the User would be charged for ANY services utilized in those spaces.
