Graduate assistant
Sebastian Gonzalez
Sebastian joined the Office of Internal Audit as a student intern in January 2023. As an international student from Colombia, he graduated from Central Michigan University in December 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a minor in finance. He has continued in Internal Audit for his Optional Practical Training (OPT) in 2024. In 2025, he has continued as an audit associate, but is now a graduate assistant, while he pursues his MBA. Sebastian’s hobbies include watching and playing sports, spending time with friends and visiting different towns and learning more about other cultures.
Student Intern
Elizabeth Armstrong
Elizabeth is a student at Central Michigan University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting. At CMU, she is involved in the Museum Studies Club and Beta Alpha Psi. This past summer, she earned her associate degree in accounting from Montcalm Community College, where she was a member of Business Professionals of America, Secretary of the History and Culture Club, and an officer for the Alpha Tau Alpha chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and fostering kittens for Karma Kat Café.
