Biography
Emma Massey (she/her/hers) is native to the Saginaw, Michigan area. Her journey at Central Michigan University began in 2018 as a Multicultural Advancement Scholar, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Development with a minor in Family Studies in 2022. Emma serves as the Assistant Director of Mentoring Initiatives, additionally, as the Program Director of IMPACT within Multicultural Academic Student Services. Her passion for higher education originates from her dedication to service and involvement throughout her time as an undergraduate student. Emma completed her Master of Art in Higher Education Administration and Social Justice from CMU in 2024. In the duration of her graduate career, Emma previously served as the Graduate Assistant of Fraternity & Sorority Life within Student Activities and Involvement. Additionally, she has served within New Student Orientation, developing and facilitating staff training centralized on cultural competency and sense of belonging. In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends, and has an avid passion for self-care, which includes DIY projects. She is excited to continue building transformative relationships with students, aiding with their sense of belonging and success at CMU.
