Buchholz, Grace

Biography

Grace Buchholz, assistant director of Alumni & Constituent Engagement, is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for CMU alumni and friends to stay connected to their alma mater and one another.

In her role, Grace helps plan and execute alumni events and experiences both on campus and across the country, including activities for regional alumni groups. She also works with the Grand Traverse Golf Committee to plan the annual CMU Alumni Grand Traverse Golf Outing.

Grace is excited to build lasting relationships with CMU alumni and friends and see how those connections can strengthen the university community. She enjoys creating engaging experiences that bring alumni back to CMU and collaborating with colleagues across Advancement to support the university’s mission and long-term growth.

A proud Central Michigan University alumna, Grace earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Education and Human Services in 2025 and recently began pursuing her master’s degree in Administration at CMU.

Outside of work, Grace enjoys playing the piano, movie nights, crafting and penpalling. She also loves spending time with her cat, Mercury, and finding new ways to be creative and connect with others.
