Biography

Hannah Martin, '16, '26, is a two-time CMU graduate and serves as an associate director of alumni engagement, creating meaningful opportunities for alumni to stay connected and engaged.

In her role, Hannah oversees flagship alumni programs and events, including Alumni Takeover Weekend, and collaborates with professional sports partners such as the Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons, and Detroit Red Wings to create unique engagement opportunities. A key focus of her work is overseeing CMU’s Alumni Affinity Chapters, partnering with alumni leaders to strengthen chapters, develop meaningful programming, and foster lifelong connections between alumni and the university.

Hannah provides leadership and mentorship to student staff and interns, supporting their professional growth and development. She works closely with the Alumni Association Board of Directors and leads affinity group initiatives, helping ensure inclusive and impactful engagement opportunities for CMU’s diverse alumni community.

While she grew up in Australia, Hannah has spent more than 10 years in Mt. Pleasant and is deeply involved in the local community. She serves on several boards and committees, including Habitat for Humanity of Isabella County, the Mt. Pleasant Jaycees, the Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival Committee, the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation Community Relations Committee, and the Adopt-a-Family Committee. She also serves as a Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador.

Hannah earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Recreation and Event Management in 2016 and a Master of Science in Administration degree with a concentration in Leadership in 2026. She is currently enrolled in CMU’s Educational Doctorate Program.
