Biography
Hannah Martin, a 2016 CMU graduate, serves as an associate director of alumni engagement, creating meaningful opportunities for alumni to stay connected and engaged.
In her role, Hannah oversees several flagship programs and events, including Grandparents U, the Alumni Breakfast during Homecoming, and Mackinac Island Weekend—each designed to foster pride, connection, and lifelong engagement among CMU alumni. She also collaborates with professional sports partners, including the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons, and Detroit Red Wings, to expand alumni programming and outreach.
Hannah provides leadership and mentorship to student staff and interns, supporting their professional growth and development. She works closely with the Alumni Association Board of Directors and leads affinity group initiatives, helping ensure inclusive and impactful engagement opportunities for CMU’s diverse alumni community.
While she grew up in Australia, Hannah has spent more than 10 years in Mt. Pleasant. She is very involved in the local community serving on several boards and committees including Habitat for Humanity of Isabella County, Mt. Pleasant Jaycees, Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival Committee, and the Parks and Rec Commission. Martin is also currently enrolled in CMU’s Master of Science in Administration (MSA) program with a concentration in leadership.
