Biography
Dr. Romeu is the associate program director for the Family Medicine Residency program at CMU Health. She earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at CMU College of Medicine in Saginaw, Michigan. During her time at CMU, she was chief resident. With her interests in global health, she helped aid in structuring, funding, and attaining conference eligibility for residents to attend CMU’s inaugural Global Health Mission Trip. She continues to show interest in Integrative Medicine, Diet & Nutrition, Women's Health, Pediatric care, and Sports Medicine in her practice. Prior to medical school, she obtained a Master’s of Science in Management with emphasis in Health Services Administration at St. Thomas University with research focus in closing healthcare gaps in communities with limited English proficiency.
