Biography

Krista Holtgreive serves as associate director of Alumni & Constituent Engagement, and is proud to call Mount Pleasant home. A lifelong “townie,” Krista was born and raised in Mount Pleasant and returned to the community after spending several years planning events in the Grand Rapids area.

Her return to Central Michigan University was a full-circle moment. CMU has long been part of Krista’s family story — her dad worked at the university for more than 40 years before retiring, and both of her sisters are CMU alumni. Today, Krista is proud to continue that family connection through her work with CMU alumni and constituents.

In her role, Krista creates meaningful opportunities for alumni and friends to connect with CMU and one another through a variety of events and programs, including Campus Conversations and the Scholarship and Endowment Brunch. She enjoys bringing people together and creating experiences that strengthen their connection to the university.

A proud CMU alum, Krista earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Recreation and Event Management in 2016. She joined the Alumni Relations team in August 2026 and is excited to help alumni stay connected, engaged and Fired Up for CMU.
