Biography

​Dr. Ghani attended medical school at Shifa College of Medicine in Islamabad, Pakistan and went on to pursue internal medicine residency training at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. His clinical interests focus on managing chronic illnesses and improve the quality of life of patients by providing compassionate and evidence-based care. Dr. Ghani aims to work on quality improvement in hospital medicine, and utilization of point-of-care ultrasound in clinical practice.  As an academic hospitalist, he enjoys teaching and mentoring medical residents and students in publishing case reports and clinical reviews. Having lived in New York for almost eight years, Dr. Ghani is excited to be part of our CMU team in Saginaw and continue his medical career.
