Biography

Dr. Ryan Corso-Gonzales received his Ph.D. in Communication at Wayne State University in 2025. His research focuses on Post-Dialectics, which isolates how argumentation works in a post-truth and post-presumption society. He focuses on how argumentation works through the force of assemblages to affectually persuade populations to believe and conform to specific understandings of reality. He is committed to advancing argumentation theory through contemporary philosophy and incorporating rhetorical understandings to expand the field.

Dr. Corso-Gonzales is also the Director of Forensics (Speech and Debate).
