Kayal, Sayan

As a member of the Financial Services and Reporting team, Sayan plays a key role in supporting system automation and process improvement initiatives across Finance & Administrative Services at Central Michigan University. As a SAP Financial Systems Analyst in the Finance Information Systems Department, he works across multiple functional areas including Payroll & Travel, Accounts Payable, Facilities Management, Materials Management, Contracting, and Purchasing, helping enhance operational efficiency and streamline financial processes through technology-driven solutions. 

Sayan is passionate about exploring emerging technology trends and actively works on projects related to AI and automation to drive innovation and continuous improvement.  

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures, cuisines, and historical heritage, which further enriches his curiosity and global perspective.
