Merseli, Tamara
Biography
As the Director of Assessment and Accreditation, I work closely with faculty to develop meaningful assessment strategies that support student success and continuous program improvement. I see assessment as more than just a requirement—it is a powerful tool that helps us understand student learning and make meaningful improvements. With a background in assessment, measurement, and data analysis, I love turning data into insights that help programs grow and evolve. I am passionate about using data-driven approaches to support faculty and ensure students have the best possible learning experience.
Beyond my work in assessment, I have a love for sports and competition. I played Division I collegiate volleyball and still enjoy playing whenever I get the chance. I also love reading and spending quality time with my family.
I earned a Master of Science in General Psychology with a concentration in Psychometrics from the University of Louisiana Monroe and am currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Central Michigan University.
