Theisen, Tim

COUNSELOR

Biography

I have lived in the Mt. Pleasant area most of my life and I have had a career in community service focusing primarily on mental health and wellness. I wanted to focus that experience at CMU and help college students find success and a healthy future on their journey to achieving their life goals. With the understanding of the effects of life experiences, past, present, and future, on mental health and wellbeing; I aim to be a part of empowering them to achieve their future goals.

I earned my Associate degree in Criminal Justice at Mid-Michigan College. I earned both my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Central Michigan University. Additionally, I have experience working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence and am a co-owner of a private practice in the Mt. Pleasant community.
