Studying pre-dentistry

The core coursework for the pre-dentistry pathway includes biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, mathematics, and English. You will also have the opportunity to take elective courses in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, genetics, and immunology.

In addition to your coursework, you will also participate in extracurricular activities that will help you develop your skills and knowledge in dentistry. These activities may include shadowing dentists, volunteering at dental clinics or hospitals, or participating in research projects.

They provide advice and instruction on taking care of teeth and gums and on diet choices that affect oral health.
