We provide American Red Cross classes to teach students CPR, First Aid, CPR/AED - PR, and lifeguard training. Be ready to lead in challenging situations.

First Aid/CPR/AED (Adult, Child, and Infant)
This course provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for breathing emergencies, perform CPR, and use an AED. The CPR certification is valid for 2 years. First Aid is also valid for 2 years.
Length: 2 hour skill session (online component required prior to skills session).
Prerequisites: None.
Challenges: CPR, First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
These challenges provide individual testing for participants who wish to be re-certified in CPR, CPR-PR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard. Instructors will not provide a review or instruction. Participants must successfully complete all of the skills tests and pass the written test(s) with a minimum score of 80 percent. A participant who does not pass the challenge will be referred back to the appropriate course.
Length: 1 hour - CPR, First Aid, CPR/AED-PR.

Reviews: CPR, First Aid, CPR/AED-PR
These reviews provide refresher instructions for those who have current or recent certifications. Instructions are provided as a review before participants are tested.
Length: 2-3 Hours.
Prerequisites: Must have a current or previous certification that has been expired for no more than 1 month.
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer/First Aid
This course teaches a variety of skills, including one and two-rescuer CPR, use of resuscitation and bag-valve masks, and use of personal protective equipment. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification is valid for 2 years. Participants may borrow a URec pocket mask or purchase one on the day of the course for $15.
Length: 3 Hour skill session (online component required prior to skills session).

Lifeguard Training
This course is designed to train and educate you to be a lifeguard through classroom learning and hands-on practice. Course elements include water and land rescue skills, first aid for injuries and sudden illnesses, spinal injury management, swimmer and facility surveillance, CPR, and emergency care. Lifeguard and first aid certifications are valid for 2 years. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification is valid for 2 years.
Length: 24 Hours.
Prerequisites: 15 years old, able to swim 300 continuous yards, surface dive up to 7-10 feet and retrieve a 10 lb. brick, and swim with the brick using only your legs.
