Gain new skills, make connections and find your voice. Living on campus gives you a world of opportunities to get involved and make a difference.
Make your voice heard in your residential community. As a member of a CMU Community Council, you’ll have a say in how your building operates. From establishing quiet hours to overseeing social expenses, you can have a real impact.
Residence Housing Association
Learn to lead and discover your voice. Our Residence Housing Association gives you a platform to express your concerns and opinions about campus life. RHA also sponsors a full slate of fun and educational programming that give you opportunities to build leadership skills and get to know your classmates.
National Residence Hall Honorary
Welcome to the Julie McMahon Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary. We are a student-run organization that values campus recognition, community service and leadership development for all members. We strive to bring service and recognition to all students on campus while also working with amazing community partners. We also execute a fall student leadership conference completely planned and executed by students for our on-campus population.
Get involved in leadership opportunities before you even take your first class at CMU. Designed for incoming freshmen and high school juniors, this three-day program in May gives you the chance to meet other students, get to know our campus and explore the social change model of leadership development.
