| Details: | Sunday, February 1st, 2026The School of Music at Central Michigan University is proud to announce the 2026 CMU Violin & Viola Day, designed for talented middle & high school upper strings students! Registration deadline is Sunday, January 25th, at 11:59 pm. This year, the School of Music is thrilled to launch a Violin Competition during Violin & Viola Day with a $500 first prize. All high school violin students with a 5-minute solo from Suzuki Book 4 or above are eligible to compete. General Schedule:
