Information Technology Plan

​​CMU's Office of Information Technology manages academic systems, classroom mediation, campuswide wireless access, voice and chat systems, physical and virtual security, physical and virtual infrastructure, and administrative applications.

All campus buildings have wireless coverage, 100 percent of all classrooms are mediated, and more than 2,500 student workstations dot campus. A help desk supports the campus community, including at night and during weekends.

An IT strategic plan was adopted during summer 2013 to advance the IT infrastructure in ways that support student success while simplifying and enhancing services and work processes.
