Compensation Information for New Faculty

Faculty are paid on a semi-monthly basis with pay dates on the fifteenth and the last day of the month (or the last workday preceding the pay date if it falls on a weekend or CMU holiday). Pay statements can be viewed online by logging in to CentralLink with your global ID and password, then navigating to My Account, then My Work Day. It is not possible to be paid in advance.

CMU employees must elect direct deposit or the CMU pay card for compensation and reimbursement. CMU will not process any check payments. Once you obtain your global ID and password, use them to log in to CentralLink, then navigate to My Account, then to My Work Day, and then to Direct Deposit or CMU Pay Card for My Pay. Visit the Payroll website for more information about compensation methods at CMU.
