Biography

Lauren is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at Central Michigan University, where she teaches and mentors students in the College of Business Administration. Her work focuses on helping students explore meaningful problems and develop the confidence and skills to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities across a range of fields. Dr. Zettel’s research explores topics such as resilience, goal pursuit, and emotion within entrepreneurial settings, contributing to scholarship on how individuals and ventures navigate challenges and uncertainty. She holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville and has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in entrepreneurship research.
