Widget standards

No layout is needed for this widget.

Do:

  • Use filters to show only necessary documents.
  • Use Documents List when you have a set of documents.

Do NOT:

  • Use this widget for just one document.

Written instructions

NOTE: These instructions are based on the most commonly used configuration options for the Document List widget. For guidance on additional options (such as excluding documents within a library folder) contact your digital strategist.

1. Drag the Documents List widget into the desired container.

2. Initially, a default list of documents will be displayed. Click Edit on the widget to configure the list to your desired documents.

3. Under the Content tab, choose the "From selected libraries only" option and click Select.

4. Search for or navigate to the desired document library/folder within the DAM, then click "Done selecting."

5. Under the "List settings" tab, choose "No limit and paging." From the "Sort documents" dropdown menu, choose the sorting option that best fits your needs (typically "Last published" or alphabetically).

6. Also under the "List settings" tab, choose the "Documents list" option under "List template."

7. Under the "Single item settings" tab, choose "Auto-generated page." Make sure "Document details" is the selected option under "Detail template."

Save and send

  • If you'd like to continue working on this page, but need to save your progress, click Save as Draft.​
  • If you're finished making changes to the page, and the page is ready for review, click Send for Approval.
