Widget standards
A layout is needed for this widget.
Do:
- This widget is only for important, temporary alerts.
Do NOT:
- Use this widget to house long-term content updates.
- Use this widget as the primary means to communicate information to your audience quickly.
- Use of this widget does not trump or void other content updates that may also be needed (i.e. a temporary change in office hours may warrant using the widget. However, all other instances of office hours should also be updated).
Written instructions
1. Add the Inline Alert layout to the "alerts" container above all other containers on the page.
2. Add the Content Block widget to both areas of the Inline Alert layout.
3. Click "Create Content".
4. Edit each content block.
5. Click "Save".
Save and send
