Pizza with Profs 

Leadership Safari welcomes first-year and transfer students to Central Michigan University. The three-day leadership conference provides the essential skills they need to feel connected and engaged on campus and has become one of CMU’s most beloved traditions.

During dinner on Tuesday, Leadership Safari teams are joined by faculty and staff from across campus at “Pizza with Profs.” These professionals help welcome our new students, share expertise, answer questions about college life and learning, and offer encouragement. Each year, students note that meeting with a professional allows them to feel more connected to CMU.

Pizza with Profs is an opportunity for you to interact with the students and help them realize that the faculty and staff of CMU can be a powerful and helpful resource throughout their college career.

This year’s event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25th. Check-in begins at 4:30 P.M., and the event runs from 5:15 to 6:30 P.M. in the campus residential restaurants (Dine + Connection, Food Hall at Merrill, and The Eatery).
