Ronan Hall Renovation

Scope
- The renovation of Ronan Hall will allow for the full use of the 66,000 square foot facility to support the University Engagement and Student Affairs Division, Residence Life, Student conduct, Academic Advising, Student Orientation Office, Student Career Services, Study Abroad, Innovation and Online, the Office of Information Technology, and the purpose-built CMU Student Food Pantry. This project will include a full renovation of the garden level, reconfiguration of the main level, and minor modification to the upper level of the facility that will allow for maximum use of the building. Deferred Maintenance investments will include new windows and exterior doors, masonry repairs, improved mechanical systems, LED lighting, fire system upgrades, new interior finishes, and improved restroom facilities. This project is documented in the 2021 Master Plan and further refined in the 2024 Campus Programming Plan.
