Health and Well-Being

CMU CARES about the whole person. Health and well-being encompass all aspects of physical, mental, emotional, and social health, recognizing that well-being is a dynamic and holistic state influenced by multiple factors. Each aspect influences the other. Prioritizing self-care, continuous growth, and meaningful connections ensures a holistic sense of well-being. The CMU community works hard to make sure there is a wide array of resources available to help support you.

Take Care Initiative

CMU's Take Care Initiative encourages students to take good care of themselves, look out for their neighbors, and be aware of their surroundings. We recognize that health and wellbeing isn't just physical and work to foster a Safe environment and Community where each student feels like they belong and has opportunities for academic and personal Growth through Connection with peers, mentors, and supports.

Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to participate in programs and events that provide hands-on opportunities to put the initiative into action and to join their fellow students in signing the Take Care Pledge.
