Adding Images
Add images to the Content Block widget to grab users' attention and tell a more interesting story. You can include a picture of the dean with their message; show students conducting research in a lab; or illustrate your area's unique opportunities with examples from classes, field work, special presentations and more.

Widget standards
No layout is needed for this widget when used in the main content area.
A layout is needed for this widget if used in the full-width area.
Do:
- Add images from your images library or desktop.
- Optimize images to reduce page load time.
- Ensure images are no larger than 50% of the available width if you are not using a full-width image.
Do NOT:
- Add content blocks to layouts that do not require or need them.
Written instructions
1. Open the page where you want to add an image.
2. After adding the Content Block widget to it, click on "Create Content."

3. Click on the image icon between the broken link and the page with a plus sign icons.

4. Click on "Select an image from library."

5. Find and select your image.

6. Click "Use selected."

7. Your image will be added into the Content Block widget. Save your changes to the widget by clicking on the green Save button.

Adding an image with a caption
1. Open the page where you want to add an image.
2. Click on "Create Content" and open the Content Block widget. To add an image with a caption, click on the underlined image icon.

3. Find the image you want to use and click on it.

4. Click "Use selected."

5. Add your caption to the Caption field and click the insert button.

6. Your image with a caption below it will appear. Click on the green Save button to save your work.

Save and send
- If you'd like to continue working on this page, but need to save your progress, click Save as Draft.
- If you're finished making changes to the page, and the page is ready for review, click Send for Approval.
