The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides the core technology services available to CMU students, faculty, and staff. Whether you're using services like Blackboard or email, connecting to the campus Wi-Fi network, or calling a peer over phone or Skype, OIT provides access to these and numerous other technology services.

Technology plays a bigger role than ever in higher education, and OIT is passionate about providing excellent service to help you achieve success.

The OIT Help Desk

If you run into any trouble with technology at CMU, the OIT Help Desk is here to provide the support you need. Not only is the Help Desk available during regular business hours, but they're also available evenings and on the weekends, so they're here for you whenever a technology disaster strikes. If your computer is outright broken, the Help Desk also offers heavily discounted personal computer repair services.

CONNECT: Cellular Services

In addition, OIT's CONNECT: Cellular Services office can set you up with discounted cellular plans and mobile devices from AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. The potential savings vary from person to person depending on their current cell plan, but most people are able to save money, keep the same level of service, and don't need to change their phone number. The best part? After graduation, you can continue to receive discounted cellular service through CMU!

Submit a Ticket

Submit a technical support ticket at any time - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Support personnel will review and set expectations during normal hours of operation. To submit a ticket, just  hop over to our client portal and locate the service for your IT request.
