Forms

For use in the main content area. Forms widget must be in a container layout.

Forms can be created to help your audience request information, sign up for events or workshops, and connect with your office or department. 

*Please note: If you need your form's responses to be confidential, we recommend using Microsoft Forms.

Capabilities

  • Collect information from your audience.
  • Ask questions in an organized, visually appealing manner. 
  • Access and maintain responses within Sitefinity.
  • Ability to submit multiple files through the form.

Guidelines

  • One form per page.
  • Do NOT use every widget available on the form.
  • NOT recommended for anonymous forms (use Microsoft Forms).

    Overview

    To access the Forms area of Sitefinity, in the top menu click on Content and select Forms from the drop down menu.

    Dashboard

    The forms area of Sitefinity has a dashboard-style layout where you can select the action you want to take.

    1. Forms menu
    2. List of forms already created
    3. View form button
    4. View form responses button
    5. Actions menu
    6. Form owner name

    Viewing forms

    In order to see the correct rendering of a form, you must use the form widget to add it to a page. The "View" button on the forms dashboard does NOT show you how a form will look once live on the site.
