We are so glad you have chosen to pursue your graduate degree at CMU. This online orientation program has been developed to cover information pertinent to your time at CMU as a graduate student. We have strived to cover a variety of non-academic department information, College of Graduate Studies policies and procedures, and helpful information to get you off on the right foot at CMU.

A one-time, $35, non-refundable orientation fee is assessed to all new domestic graduate students. This fee must be paid in order to register for classes. Domestic Orientation Fee Payment . Once this fee is paid the hold will be removed within 12-24 hours from your account and you will be able to register for classes. If you have a Orientation Fee Hold on your account, however, that you believe has already been paid, please call CMU Graduate Admissions at (989) 774-4444, extension 2, to review your file and remove the hold on your account. International student orientation and related fees are administered through the Office of International Affairs.
